  1. Nov 21,  · IMO, all of the VDGG and Peter Hammill original CDs on Virgin/Charisma sound much better than the remastered CDs, which are incredibly maximised and bright. However, the UK and German vinyl that I have of VDGG and Hammill releases are by far the best for sound quality.
  2. Peter Hammill discography and songs: Music profile for Peter Hammill, born 5 November Genres: Art Rock, Singer/Songwriter, Progressive Rock. Albums include The Silent Corner and the Empty Stage, Exposure, and Over.
  3. The Silent Corner and the Empty Stage: Remastered & Expanded One of Peter Hammill’s best albums, although very much of its time. (In the) Black Room/The Tower. C'est d'ailleurs aussi le cas ici avec l'épique A Louse Is Not a Home si typique de la personnalité sombre et théâtrale du combo, un petit chef d'aeuvre de chanson à /5(50).
  4. Both Classics in my book. The last disc is the treasure for most people probably have the first 4 albums. The first discs only throw hints of having rare tracks with only a couple per cd. The 3rd disc which has not only Enos projects for outside artists represented but it also contains the unfinshed album of pop songs called My Squelchy Life.
  5. Peter Hammill has announced a new live box set titled Not Yet, Not Now. The package was recorded between November and May during tours of Italy, Belgium, Netherlands, Sweden, the UK, and Germany. A total of 98 tracks will be spread across 8 CDs, with each disc presented in an individual wallet, while a page booklet will also be.

  8. The front-man Peter Hammill released quite a number of albums during that time. The quartet (Peter Hammill, Hugh Banton, David Jackson, Guy Evans) reconvened and recorded a batch of songs that would produce not only Godbluff, but also a good deal of the following album Still cefresurlessjobse.nuahispostperpillpahganiformilldownther.infoinfos:
